I can't say enough good things about Onji and her breeding program. After years of dealing with unethical breeders I met Onji while she was transporting a pup from a different breeder and the care that she gave during transport and the constant communication really made me feel comfortable. During that period I could not only see how much Onji cared about the dogs in her possession but also her ability to communicate with worried owners. I was very impressed with how she handled my puppy's very long transport and asked if we could stay in touch as she was a wealth of dog knowledge and she happily accepted. Onji renewed my love for the breed after being taken advantage of by unethical breeders. She told us when we were ready for our next dog to give her a list of things that we wanted from our pup and our expectations as it matured. To be honest it was a pretty demanding list and Onji was very straightforward in her response with which breeding pairs would best meet our needs. A couple months later she produced the most amazing pup I could have ever imagined. Way beyond our expectations!! Since then we have gotten two more pups from Onji both outstanding with temperament, confirmation, personality and one being a dual trained Service Dog in medical alert and mobility assistance/visual aid. I highly recommend Alsup German Shepherds to anyone who's a serious buyer. I literally trust her dogs with my life!

We were lucky enough to get 2 dogs from Onji and they're both such wonderful additions to our family. I was so happy to see health testing, purposeful lines in her program, and great communication through the whole process! We got a puppy that we flew out to pick up and an adult dog that was ground transported safely. We love them so much and you can definitely see the top notch temperament in them. I have never seen a dog love kids so much (even kids outside our household). They are so smart, patient, and overall wonderful with everyone.

From the very start we were so impressed with Onji, I requested the puppy we wanted and within 5 minutes received a call reaching out asking a bit about us and answering all our questions. She seemed to really care about the pup and was very responsive with updates and even checked in to see how we were settling with her a week later. She provided all of the paper work and medical records making us feel very comfortable with our choice and giving us some peace of mind.

Neil Wisener and I have been working with Onji for a couple years. We now have Mick (2 yrs old), a return to her and Vixen, one of her imports from Serbia. Vixen (1 yr old) is a sable GSD. She is patient with a new owner and an over protective dog mom. She finds the right German Shepherd for each owner because what each owner is looking for is different. These are highly intelligent, well bred animals. Onji makes sure she provides all the paperwork in a timely fashion. The dogs we have are kind because that is our expectation of them but they are also recognized by others as a dog to respect. We could have them trained to perform any manner of duties at our home. I give Alsup Canines German Shepherds my highest recommendation. If I could have another, I would but 2 Germans and an elderly Labradoodle are plenty.

We are so incredibly thankful that we found Onji on Good Dogs. With both Onji and Good Dogs, this process could not have been easier. We are so in love with our puppy, Captain, and we are so grateful to have been able to welcome him into our family. My Mom & I got litter mates together from Onji at Nuckols Canine and it has been the biggest blessing in both of our lives! We live close to eachother so theses two get to grow up together but they are each fulfilling specific roles individually and have become treasured family members. Tucker is my 6th Shepherd personally and I have always dreamed of having a dog that can do therapy work. Got my boy from Onji last year and couldn't be happier! I had been searching for a male for quite some time to match my females energy and temperament. I was blown away with Tam from day one! Onji's description of him was spot on and he fit right in, going on adventures with me, being a demo dog in the group classes I train, and I even got him started in dock diving. This summer we will be continuing with dock diving and earning his CGC. I am so excited for the years to come and will actually be adding another prospect from one of Onji's litters due this spring!

Thank you so much for my precious puppy Klaus!! It was a pleasure from start to finish. They were very responsive to any questions and always quick to respond. We were going to wait for a certain litter that wouldn't be ready for four months and they let us know they had another wonderful pup available as they knew our 13 year old Shepherd Kaiser had passed and we were missing him so much. My puppy Gotham is a beautiful long haired black German shepherd. He is my shadow and my partner everywhere I go including the bathroom. He is energetic, cute, social, and soooo smart. We've only had him a couple of weeks and he's HUGE and already knows sit, lay down, up, down, stay, and "ok get it." He follows my other German Shepherds every move learning from her. Definitely recommend getting your fluff ball with the goofy ears from Nuckols Canines. She sent me pictures and kept me updated on him before pick up. My experience with Onji has been amazing from the start. Her communication, knowledge, and having him here has exceeded my expectations. She was responsive upon my original inquiry to answer with any information asked for. She kept me up to date throughout the whole process of transporting as well. Everything she has noted about Tam Tam has proven to be true. Besides him being a stunner, he was confident from day one, never shying from anything, was able to settle in quickly and show his spunk. I bought Rosa vom Nucklos from Onji at Nucklos Canines German Shepherds, and she's an amazing dog. Absolutely beautiful with a great temperament. Nuckols Canines and Onji came highly recommended from a family member. Onji was great right from the beginning. This review is long overdue. We got Zeus a couple of months back and he's been nothing but a bundle of Joy. Even the visitation process was top tier compared to other breeders, ensuring that the pups were safe and the introduction to the parents were safe. Overall the experience was great. I had struggled to find the perfect long coated shepherd breeder and I came across Nuckols Canines. Onji was so quick at responding and went over all the personality traits of my baby Roxy. She really went over everything and I felt less stressed about the experience because of her. Onji was so readily available and when I picked Roxy up I knew she would be the sassy but lovable best friend I needed. Onji was an absolute blessing!! We had lost our puppy from cancer. I had always known i wanted a pure bred high quality GSD. We mourned the loss of our boy Kobalt and i began to look around at breeders. When i came across Nuckols Canines, i messaged Onji to see if she still had a litter available. Onji is a very educated and caring woman who is dedicated to offering the best puppies possible!
